NEW C5 Sport Rod
ALL ALUMINUM SEMI-MONOCOQUE FRAME
Debut at Carlisle 2007

Race Debut at Run & Gun 2007, winning all three events in Street Small Block
Designed to accept Corvette C5 susepnsion cradles and drivetrain.
The Super T-Bucket was designed to be a unique, high performance super car. It was designed to use the drive train, steering, brakes, wheels, tires, and suspension of Americas greatest sports car, the C-5 Corvette. Imagine how a Corvette might perform if it was 1400lbs lighter, had 56% rear weight, and a lower center of gravity! You would be correct if you thought that it would be unbeatable!

We designed a light weight but incredibly stiff aluminum semi-monoque chassis that would accept all of the Corvette components. You simply bolt the stock aluminum suspension cradles into our frame. We maintained the stock wheelbase and track to maintain the factory suspension geometry. We moved the engine rearward by about 22 inches to improve the balance. Our only other change was to eliminate the factory springs and shocks. Instead we use aluminum coil over shocks.

We designed a simple fiberglass skin based upon the 1923 model T. This allows us to keep the weight low, assembly easy, attend all of the Hot Rod meets, and makes it easy to register in most all states.

By using all of the stock Corvette parts the car is reliable, serviceable, and economical. The parts are world class and all aluminum. In our chassis the total weight is about 1900lbs. The performance is breathtaking.

We debuted the Super T at an event called Run and Gun. Sponsored by Kit Car Magazine this event is held at Gateway International Raceway, across the river from St. Louis. The event consists of road racing, drag racing, and an autocross. The Super T was unbeatable. It won all three events by HUGE margins. We raced in a class with street tires but beat almost all of the prepared race cars, and a lot of the unlimited race cars. All this with stock suspension, bushings, and power! (We won the road racing by 6 seconds per lap! The next two fastest Street Class Road Course times were SeriesI Dragons!) All of this
in a car that rides smoothly, is wind free in the cockpit, and is very comfortable to ride in. The drivers and passenger cockpits are huge too!

As seen in Carlisle, PA in May 2007, and featured in Jan'08 Kit Car Magazinw, here's first look at the True Flame T-bucket body on an All aluminum Chassis.

This ain't your Daddy's T-bucket!

Standing next to the new Aluminum Frame, John gives you a sense of scale.

All up weight will be too low to use the stock C5 transverse leaf springs, so conversion to coil over shocks gives adjustability and, if building from all new parts, a less expensive solution.

Can use stock sway bars, Z06 Wide Wheels and TIres

LS-6 will get Carbon Fiber Dress-up. Nothing like 405HP at rear wheels for only 1880 pounds.

Look carefully and you'll see the trailer hitch, so you can haul the trailer for "One Lap"!
C5-Offroad anyone!?

This shot is with Stock C5 Transverse springs. You can see, even at lowest possible adjustment, frame is still about 3" too high.

Headers will be jet-coated black.
