			DRIVE TRAIN
1		Engine	The Stock Chassis is set up for Chevrolet Corvette LS Style engines from 1997 and up
			Other engine options are available but custom fabrication is necessary for front crossmember and engine mounts(small block only)
2		Transmission	The Stock Chassis is set up for the T-56 6-Speed Tremec Transmission. This tranny was used behind the LS engines from 1997 - 2004 in the Camaro and Firebird. The Bellhousing, transmission and mount are available new from GM or from a Tremec dealer. Other transmissions can be used but we need to custom fabricate the crossmember and mount.
			*The shifter must be relocated to a forward location. The tranny has provisions for this. (Shifter relocation part # to be determined)
3		Differential	We use the differential from the 97-04 Corvette. As used in the Vette, it bolts directly to the tranmission creating a transaxle. We offer the parts to convert the differential into a unit that takes a driveshaft. The Corvete uses a 3.42:1 ratio in the 6-speed cars. THis is the unit we recommend. The differential is limited slip.
4		Driveshaft	We offer a Heavy Duty Driveshaft and U-Joints for the LS/T-56 Combination.
5		Exhaust	We offer custom TUbular Headers and Side-pipes for this combination.

			Throttle Pedal
A	-	If using the LS engine, GM used two different throttle bodies. Early LS engines had a cable actuated throttle body, the later ones (from 2002? and up) had electronic throttle control. Bore size was the same through LS-6.
	-	If using an Electronically Controlled Throttle Body, you will need the appropriate year Corvette Throttle Pedal Assembly, Wiring, Computer and Throttle Body.
		Two companies that have complete systems are:
			Current Performance Wiring and
			Street & Performance
	-	We used an LS-1 cable throttle Body on a 2004 LS-6 with good results. It was necessary for the Engine Computer to be reprogrammed for the correct throttle body(cable or electronic).
	*	Make sure if you get an aftermarket throttle body, that it will fit your manifold! For instance: the F.A.S.T. Throttle body ONLY fits their manifold.
	*	We have not used te electric Throttle Body. Custom mounts will be required to use the Corvette Throttle Pedal.
B	-	If using a cable operated throttle body OR are using a carb, this is how we did it!
